Our neighbourhood End of Summer party is scheduled for Sunday September 24th, 2pm -6pm, so mark your calendars!
This year we will be having it at the Sq’ewlets hall, only a short 2 block walk away.
Our Board member Joey Chapman was recently voted in as the Sq’ewlets Chief, and has offered the hall. This will enable inside and outside space to relax, listen to the live music, enjoy some great food, and reconnect with the neighbours.
We will will also have new limited edition LECA hats and hoodies for sale at the event.
Admission is free for paying LECA members (remember that annual membership is only $10 per adult, and 17 and under are free). Non paid members can pay $15 each at the door ($5 extra for manual work involved). So go pay for your membership online, if not already done!
We will save over $500 in permits vs using the MoTI /FVRD park, which we can use to improve our neighborhood and for better events!
Community Clean up event is tentatively scheduled for October 1. Stay tuned for more details.
